A frog in a pond may not seem like that big of a deal, but a green frog found in MacEwan Pond was the first one we’ve spotted since 2010 — and it’s a sign that the surrounding ecological area is in good health.
Last year, our donors helped us expand our Veggie Garden so we could plant more food crops and deliver 300 lbs. of fresh produce to our local food bank. You can help our green spaces thrive with a gift today.
Donors help us preserve this piece of natural wonder right in the middle of a bustling, growing city. But keeping Riverwood healthy and accessible requires continued conservation work.
Supporting our conservation work ensures everyone in our community can safely connect to nature and find the fortitude they need to face whatever challenges life may have in store.
Thanks to a generous grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, The Riverwood Conservancy will be able to make enhancements to our environmental conservation and restoration projects within Riverwood.
