Special Event Photography – The Riverwood Conservancy

Located in central Mississauga, Riverwood is a special place where history, nature, beauty and tranquility combine to create memorable images. Let the picturesque Chappell House and finely designed MacEwan Terrace Garden serve as the backdrop for your special event photography needs.

Photography Permits

All group and wedding photographers must obtain a park permit to reserve a 90 minute block of time, which includes arrival, photographs, and departure from the park.

To request a permit for photography at Riverwood, call the City of Mississauga at 905-615-4100 or visit the Recreation Customer Service Centre in the North Building of the Paramount Fine Foods Centre, 5600 Rose Cherry Place, Mississauga.

Reservations by Mississauga residents can be made 10 months in advance on a first come, first served basis. Reservations by non-residents can be made two months in advance.

Please note that we do not offer facilities for wedding ceremonies or receptions.

Special event photography at Riverwood is a partnership with the City of Mississauga and helps support community programs by The Riverwood Conservancy in environmental education, conservation, and gardening.
