Fall Colours Walk

The fall season is here and the forest canopy is on display with bright reds, yellows, and oranges! Join us for a walk in the woods, observing the season’s change.

Important Information

This program is suitable for all ages. 

Dress for the weather. This is a rain or shine event, unless severe weather is in the forecast.  

No dogs permitted, service animals welcome. 

Difficulty Rating

Moderate. This program takes place on the top terraces and trail systems of Riverwood, including some hills.

Cancellations and Refunds

Due to processing fees, no refunds will be given for cancelled registrations for this event. No refunds will be given for no-shows. If the event is cancelled due to weather, illness, or minimum registrations not reached, we will attempt to reschedule, or a full refund will be issued based on the circumstances of the cancellation.

About the Presenter

Sarah Gunnell finds joy reading outside, hiking Ontario’s provincial parks, and sharing good food with friends and family. With a degree in biology and a passion for science communication, they have created and led outdoor education programs for children, families, seniors, schools, and community groups. Sarah believes time outdoors is essential for learning, well-being, and inspiring care for the natural world.
