Tribute Plaques
Mark a moment in life, celebrate an achievement, or commemorate an inspiring life with a personalized plaque at Riverwood. Plaques are available in The Riverwood Conservancy’s Enabling Garden, a hands-on learning environment that’s fully accessible and innovatively designed for people of all ages who live with physical, cognitive, and/or mental health challenges. Plaques are also available in our Pollinator Paradise, a 120-square metre teaching garden and ecosystem filled with native plants that provide food and habitat for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.
Your plaque will stand as a prominent reminder of what and who matters most in your life, and in purchasing a plaque, you’ll be providing vital support to The Riverwood Conservancy’s range of community-based environmental work that serves nature-lovers in Mississauga and beyond.
Tribute Plaque Specifics
– Plaques can be mounted on planters, benches, and other structures.
– Each 6″ x 6″ planter plaque or 2'' x 5'' bench plaque is metallic, rustproof, and will be inscribed with the wording of your choice (character limits apply).
– Plaques are maintained for a period of ten years, with the option of renewal once a term is complete.
– Charitable tax receipts, covering a partial amount of the purchase price, are issued for every plaque purchase.
– The person or family commemorated by the plaque will be sent a card notifying them of the tribute, without reference to the amount of the monetary donation.
