Science and conservation photographer, Samantha Stephens, shares stories about wildlife research from Algonquin Wildlife Research Station, highlighting the important role field stations play in understanding a changing world and training the next generation of environmental professionals.
About the Presenter
Samantha Stephens is a biologist turned photographer. She uses photography to communicate scientific research, especially when that research is relevant to conservation issues. Through her work, she hopes to foster an appreciation for the natural world and the work that helps us understand and protect our shared planet. Samantha is a graduate of the Environmental Visual Communication program offered by the Royal Ontario Museum and the Fleming College School of Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences.
