About the Presenter
Throughout her fifty years of gardening experience, Jeanne McRight has focused on environmental conservation, specializing in native plants, woodland restoration and naturalized landscaping. Jeanne founded Mississauga’s exciting new not-for-profit organization Blooming Boulevards in March 2019 and is currently busy as President and Executive Director. She also is a horticulturist, Master Gardener and a Director of the Cloverleaf Garden Club. She frequently does presentations and workshops on sustainable gardening topics for horticultural groups, garden clubs and public events such as Canada Blooms. Gardening is Jeanne’s joy and passion, but more than that, she is a deeply committed advocate for environmentally sustainable horticultural practices.
