Awaken your senses and immerse yourself in the calm and relaxation of forest bathing. More than ever, it is important that we connect with nature and the more-than-human world. Come together while staying apart to enjoy a restorative practice with a trained forest therapy guide. During the practice of forest bathing, inspired by the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, our guide will offer a series of invitations and prompts to engage your senses and connect with the natural world.
Find a spot outside your own home, in a park or a local trail. A place that feels good to you and where you can be for 1.5 hours. If you cannot leave your home, you can attend while indoors – if you can be near a window that will be great.

About the Presenter
Sock Gee Gan is a Certified Forest Therapy Guide through the Association on Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and Programs. A resident of Mississauga who loves to wander and explore in nature, she is eager to share the many benefits of forest bathing with the community. Sock Gee believes that remembering that we are part of nature leads to harmonious relationship with others and the more-than human world.
