Forest Bathing

June 14 @ 9:00 am 11:30 am

$15 TRC Members enjoy discounted rates

Join us for a mindful experience at Riverwood and deepen your relationship with nature. Forest bathing is inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, which gives you the chance to reconnect with nature.

Expect a series of invitations to guide you to interact with the land and nature at Riverwood. There is no right or wrong way to engage these invitations, just come be yourself. Tea service will be offered at the end of the program, or you are welcome to bring your own hot beverage.

Sock Gee speaks English, Cantonese, and Mandarin and is happy to translate to those who speak these languages.

Important Information

Dress for the weather. This is a rain-or-shine event unless severe weather is in the forecast.

Collapsible stools and foam mats are available to borrow for the duration of the event. You are welcome to bring your own folding chair, blanket or thermos with a hot drink.

No dogs permitted, service dogs welcome.

Difficulty Rating

Easy. This program will be a slow-paced meander on the trails of Riverwood. You may be walking, sitting, or lying down, depending on how you would like to engage with the invitations.
