Visual Arts Mississauga and The Riverwood Conservancy have joined together with The Chamber Music Society of Mississauga and Driftwood Theatre to bring Mississauga residents free and pay-what-you-can entertainment throughout the summer with performances taking place just outside the Visual Arts Mississauga building at Riverwood. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blanket. Bug spray is recommended.
Garden of Dreams: Anne Lindsay (fiddle) and Sharlene Wallace (harp)
Gathering dreams and music of our imaginations, Anne Lindsay and Sharlene Wallace’s concert will journey through original, folk, Celtic and contemporary music against the stunning backdrop of Riverwood. Enjoy the floral scents, evening sky and fiddle and harp music.
Many paths and years of friendship have brought Anne and Sharlene together collaborating on inspired programmes of original music, contemporary and folk music. Both award winning and expansive in their musical roots, Anne and Sharlene have performed together with the Canadian Celtic Choir, for Chamber Music Society of Mississauga, as well as playing monthly with Eric Robertson (piano) as Iona Passage.
