Birding with the Expert at J.C. Saddington Park

Join renowned birder, Luc Fazio, for some winter bird watching along Lake Ontario. Meet some birders in the area and get outdoors with a group of like-minded individuals.

Important Information

This program is best suited for participants 12 and older.

Please bring your own binoculars as they will not be provided.

The program may run past 10:00 am; if you need to leave by then, please review the trail map before departing from the group.

Dress for the weather—this event takes place rain, snow, or shine unless severe weather is expected. The lakefront can be colder and windier, so consider bringing winter boots, crampons, or a walking stick.

No dogs allowed.

Difficulty Rating

Easy. This program will involve a slow-paced walk on the flat trails at J.C. Saddington Park. Depending on conditions, the trails may become icy or snow-covered.

Cancellations and Refunds

Refunds may only be processed if a registration is cancelled five or more business days before event day. Cancellations are subject to administrative fees. No refunds will be given for no-shows. For programs that have a registration fee of $19.99 per person or less, no refunds will be issued due to processing fees. If the program is cancelled due to weather, illness, or minimum registrations not reached, we will attempt to reschedule, or a full refund will be issued based on the circumstances of the cancellation.
