Birding with the Expert

Join renowned birder, Luc Fazio, for some spring birding at Riverwood. Meet some local birders in the area and get outdoors with a group of like-minded individuals.

Important Information

All ages are welcome; however, this program is best suited for participants 12 and older.

Please bring your own binoculars as they will not be provided.

The program may run past 10:00 am. If you need to leave by then, please review the trail map before departing from the group.

Dress for the weather. This is a rain or shine event, unless severe weather is in the forecast.

No dogs allowed.

Difficulty Rating

Moderate. This program will start with a slow-paced walk on the flat and even trails of the upper terraces at Riverwood. After completing the easy trails, the group will move on to the Yellow, Red, and Culham Trails, which include steeper hills and uneven paths. You are welcome to join for as much or as little of the program as you like.

Cancellations and Refunds

Due to processing fees, no refunds will be given for cancelled registrations for this event. No refunds will be given for no-shows. If the event is cancelled due to weather, illness, or minimum registrations not reached, we will attempt to reschedule, or a full refund will be issued based on the circumstances of the cancellation.
